Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we do with the information you give us on this website. TIC is pre-launch — the marketplace is not yet operational, and this site does nothing except collect waitlist signups.
What we collect
Only what you type into one of the two waitlist forms. Nothing else.
- Vendor waitlist: your name, business name, email address, phone number, city, and product category.
- Buyer waitlist: your name, email address, phone number, city, and whether you're interested in bulk or individual buying.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or trackers of any kind on this site. We do not collect your IP address, and we do not build a profile of you.
Why we collect it
- To contact you when TIC opens, and — for vendors — to invite you into the first onboarding cohort.
- To understand which categories and cities have interest, so we know where to start.
That is the entire purpose. We will not email you about anything else, and we will never sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
How it is handled
Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox through Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service. Your submission passes through their systems in order to reach us; they act as a processor on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes. Their privacy policy is available on their website.
Once received, signups are held in our company email account and a private contact list accessible only to TIC personnel who need it.
How long we keep it
Until TIC launches and you have been contacted, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If TIC does not launch, we will delete the waitlist.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email admin@theindiancommerce.com and we will action it within 30 days. There is no cost, and you do not need to give a reason.
You can also ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time and we will delete your record — being on the list creates no obligation on your side.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum needed and limit who can access it.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting people already on the waitlist will be communicated by email.
